We are now looking for a Subject Matter Expert Third Party to join our Group Compliance function at Scania Headquarters in Södertälje.

About the Role
The Group Compliance function supports the global Scania organization in reducing compliance risks by providing knowledge in terms of policies, guidelines, trainings, reporting, advice and by assisting the organization in designing compliance structures and processes in anti-corruption, AML, competition law as well as business & human rights. This role will give the right candidate the possibility to influence and develop the Group Compliance program and offer the unique opportunity to address risks from a holistic perspective in all Scania activities. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders from different departments for e.g., Export Control, Sustainability, IT and service providers.
Your role includes to:
- Create, review and update due diligence related policies, guidelines, processes and training materials
- Conduct internal and third-party compliance and due diligence-trainings
- Identify compliance risks in business operations and develop compliance mitigation programs
- Support and develop a culture of compliance and integrity
- Work closely together with Compliance Officers and other functions on different compliance-related topics
- Give operational support to local entities within Scania.
You will report to Head of Group Compliance.
Qualifications
You have at least five years of experience within compliance and due diligence processes with a good knowledge of AML, anti-corruption, competition law and business & human rights. You have an academic legal or commercial background in an international company or a law firm.
To be successful in this role you need to have a proactive approach in planning your daily work and have strong analytical skills regarding compliance and the business, with the ability to see the wider picture. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as high integrity and an open-minded approach. You are comfortable working both in a team and independently.
The right candidate is fluent in both written and spoken English and has an interest in IT-solutions and processes, especially from a due diligence system-perspective. It is also meritorious if you have experience from driving and supporting due diligence- or KYC-processes.
